NO FLASHING, AND POLISHING THINGS

This is what my digital notebook looks like. Know what those tabs are (and there's more if you scroll over)? Those are stories that I've started and abandoned. There are twelve tabs in all, and about five of those tabs hold multiple stories.

Sad, isn't it.

And that's not all ...

And you can scroll down and find lots and lots more. I'd show you, I just don't want to make this post too image-heavy.

And then there's my Dropbox.

And my Google Drive.

And physical notebooks.

Of course, all of these stories are not publish-worthy, but a lot of them are. My 2016 resolution: to do some cleaning. It feels like I'm cleaning a garage, scavenging through deserted material and polishing off what can be saved.

The upside to this is that I'm ripping through the current project at lightning speed since a good amount of the lifting has already been done. Early in the coming week I'll write a post about which story I'm working on now, and you can follow me on Instagram and Facebook to see some photo updates.

I've already rewritten one story as flash fiction and published it here on the blog. 'Prankster in the Box' was first written last summer.

For the last three weeks, I've been posting a flash fiction story every week. I'm not sure how long I'll be doing them every week, but I do know that I'm knee deep in a story called 'Life in the Dark', and that there won't be any flash fiction this coming Tuesday. Hope you enjoy the 'Work-in-progress' posts. Don't forget to follow me on Facebook and Instagram!

You can also sign up to my newsletter and get a weekly digest of it all if you don't want to/can't follow daily.

And have you noticed the art at the top of the homepage. Big thanks to Michael Vincent Manalo for letting me share it here!
