Ghost Town

I’ll get right to it.

Last week I made a list of things that I needed to do for my writing career to work out. This list included releasing stories more regularly, building a relationship with my friends on my email list, website maintenance, working on my craft (studying), reading more of my genre, showing up on social media more and other small administrative tasks (that you realize take up more time than you thought it would).

Here’s the problem: my energy is kinda sorta limited these days. I’m in my last trimester. I want to do all the things but I can’t. So, I’ve decided the blog will be ghost town for a couple of months.

Yep, just a couple. It’ll be one less thing I need to worry about. It probably seems like I haven’t worried too much since my posts have been awfully sporadic, but trust me, it’s always on my mind. It’s better this way, because something done half heartedly is usually trash.

This isn’t goodbye. I’ll be on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and your email (if you let me;)

And right now you’re probably thinking this post reminds you of a one-night stand. Like you’re rushed to the front door with your clothes wrapped in your arms. No breakfast, no conversation, just a IT WAS FUN BUT I HOPE I NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN.

Don’t feel like that. You know how brief I am most of the time.

And if anything happens to change, and I can get back to blogging sooner I will. Until then, see you around. Hopefully!
