SWITCHING GEARS FOR SOMETHING COOL

Something happened last week that I am very excited about: I finally booked my very first event. Yup, me. I did it:) It was hard! I'd been trying for the past few months to find my way into someone's library or whatever so I could bring my book and show it off and be like, "Hey, everybody. My name is TNae Wilcox and I write books and I'd be really psyched if you could buy them!" But all my efforts were thwarted and I didn't know when it would happen.

But with more digging (and figuring out which secret clubs I have to be apart of to get into more:)...

I found two events right here in Michigan that is specifically for indie authors that I can be apart of. I'm nervous and excited ...and nervous.

And also, I've decided that I don't want to walk in there with just my one book.

Yup, I wanna have 2 books! I'VE NEVER GOTTEN A BOOK DONE THIS FAST BEFORE.

Secrets Between Friends was supposed to be coming out this Friday. Now, it won't because I HAVE to put my time and resources into polishing up a story so that I can have physical copies ready for the events. I'm thinking I'll release Secretes Between Friends in pieces as blog posts, or maybe I'll just postpone it for a couple of weeks. This is because all of the things I usually do as far as editing won't be done. I'll keep you posted.

Are you happy for me? I mean, I don't know how the event will go. Maybe like 3 people will show up. Maybe not. It'll still be cool though.

Have you read THE MISSING LOVED ONES yet? I'm giving it out for FREE. Just tell me where to send it
